This morning I woke up without that enthusiastic feeling towards life, and yet here I am writing this article anyways.
Why would I write even if I’m not feeling it?
It’s because there is something more important than my feelings.
Why do I write when I don’t know what to write about, or where this is going?
It’s because there is something important in sharing my experience of living the teaching of the spiritual heart even when I don’t mentally know the answers.
The things that are more important to you than your own personal feelings and thoughts can shed light on your intentions, values, and purposes.
You may have many things on many levels that motivate you to keep going. It could be that the kids needs to eat. It could be your desires for comfort or social acceptance. It could be a lack of self worth that you attempt to fill with money, relationships, or other things outside yourself. Sometimes its that next trip or a new toy. Maybe its fear of lack, fear of loosing control, or other fears.
Fear is one of the most powerful negative motivators, but do you know what is a greater motivator than fear and all the other negative motivators?
