Sometimes, life can really weigh heavy on you. All the challenges. Those things that haven’t worked out. Fears of the future. Stresses of the present moment. Anxieties. Depressions.
There’s no doubt that life can be difficult. You may not feel very appreciated or valued at times. You may not feel very loved or supported. Not only by others, but even by yourself.
If it gets bad enough, most people will pray. Even if they don’t believe in God, a lot of people will still pray “just in case.” Thus the war aphorism, “there’s no atheists in a foxhole.”
During the worst times, your prayer may take the form of a single word, “Help.”
