We are bombarded by so much information that it becomes difficult to differentiate between the signal and the noise. What is valuable information, and what is a distraction?

If you are using any social media, search engines, AI, legacy media, or online content, it is more and more being delivered by algorithms that intend to manipulate you in one way or another.

There always seems to be the latest thing to fight about. Much of the so-called “social” technology is designed to trigger the addictive parts of the brain and get you emotionally involved (often in a negative way, or at least a wasteful one). With the advent of AI and deep fakes, it isn’t even possible to know what is real in the virtual, online world anymore.

There is less and less signal. There is less and less information that is meaningful and directly relevant to our physical world lives, or at least the kind of information that would make them better.

This is a great thing…if are up to the challenge. 

I’m sure it sounds dystopian and horrible, and it might be. So then what’s so great about it?
