The Permanence of Change

You Aren't Given Anything You Cannot Handle

The recent fires in Southern California have a personal dimension for me, as they are affecting people I know and care about and my loving goes out to them. Not only that, but the fires have ravaged and destroyed the areas that I spent much of my life in. I have many good memories in places that have been left a smoldering heap of ash. It brings home the transitory nature of this world, and as John-Roger was known to say: “The only thing permanent here is change.”

Change is the nature of this planet, and it is how we know time. Your attitude towards change is what makes it good or bad.

When the challenges of devastation and unexpected loss knock on your door, there are higher truths that you can hang your hat on, those greater awarenesses that can see you through the most difficult times.

One is that you will not be given anything that you can’t handle. You may not be aware of it, but everything that happens in your life is agreed to spiritually by you beforehand. In higher consciousness, often before you were born, there were different courses that you agreed to for your life’s path in order for your Soul to have the experiences it needs. You have a choice consciously as to which of those roads you take, and the resulting consequences, but there is an agreement by you to the plan laid out.

Sometimes, especially when you move into the higher Light consciousness in your life, you choose to be part of things as a teaching action for others. It may not be your karma to go through a certain situation, but you agree to it spiritually because you will serve as an example to others on how to go through it, or give others a chance to grow by your involvement.

Sometimes you are caught up in larger karmas by the nature of being in a certain place or time. If it isn’t yours, then you will come through and to the other side of it without the same inner or outer problems that carry on for others. Those who are part of the karma will be more involved and affected. There are so many variables that it is beyond comprehension with the finite nature of the mind.

Regardless of the spiritual purpose behind what you are going through, you can handle it. You are not given anything that you cannot handle. That doesn’t mean it will be easy and that it won’t test you beyond what you thought you could handle, but you can handle it. Sometimes handling it is learning to ask for help.

All things start with consciousness, and the psychic frequencies of a group’s consciousness can affect things in a way that needs to be worked out on the physical level. When enough people put out negative vibrations through their disturbance, anger, and separation, it will eventually manifest into the world. Also, when enough people put out the positive energy of loving and Light, who are connected to the God within, it can alter the course of major events such as earth changes. It may not always stop what was set to happen, but it can shift or alter the way in which it plays out.

Anyone who lived and worked closely as I did with my spiritual teacher, John-Roger (J-R), was no stranger to taking car rides in the middle of the night, driving him wherever he would direct. Often he would leave his body. Sometimes he would tell you what was going on, such as an earth karma that he was dealing with.

For instance, there were times that he said he had to move an earthquake, and within a day or two there would be a major earthquake in a more remote place than was originally set. Being by him was to be part of the action. You had to hold the Light, and build up your consciousness to be able to handle the intensity of the energy being brought through you. At first it would really burn me out. Over time, as I increased my awareness and ability in Spirit, I was able to assist in greater ways. Even to this day, sometimes I have to get out of my body and into the Spirit realms to deal with whatever is being dealt with in the psychic levels.

These major events are in the psychic field of the planet, and they can be mitigated spiritually. As the years went by, I became more aware of the spiritual nature of the work he was doing and that I, too, was involved in. In the beginning, it mostly entailed placing Light forms as we drove. That has never stopped, even to this day, but I also became more aware of what was taking place in the other levels.

I lived in Mandeville Canyon with J-R, but there is a story from before my time when fires ripped through the area during the 1970’s while he lived there. I heard yesterday that the current fires were once again in the canyon near where I used to live with him.

As the story goes, the fire was coming down the hillside to the house. It got to the backyard. Those living there were using the pool water and hoses to try to fight it. The house next door was on fire.
