Throughout the history of humankind, and especially through the planet’s history, there have been many periods of major earth changes. These drastic events lead to mass migration, death, and major changes to societies and civilizations. If you haven’t noticed, there are earth changes playing out on our planet still. The consequences of which will most likely be far reaching, and is something that (as much as we would like to think), we will not be able to control.
Control is the master addiction, and it is natural for us to want to feel secure in our lives through exercising control, but if you want security, you’ve got the wrong planet. My teacher, John-Roger, was fond of saying that the only thing permanent here is change.
On the opposite end of the spectrum from control is the first law of Spirit: Acceptance. It doesn’t mean you like it, prefer it, or want it. It just means you accept that what is, is. There’s no judgement of good or bad in acceptance, just observation and acknowledgment. No judgement doesn’t mean complacency, it just changes the consciousness by which we approach the situation. It is actually a much more productive and long term effective approach.
You can start by thanking God for another day alive! Thank God for another opportunity to experience and grow in awareness of the great divine!
There is a lot of energy going into ideas of climate change and the required response to try to stop that. As per usual, people look out and try to find the solutions through control. Those with power think that if they only have more power, that they could save humanity from itself. Good luck! Maybe they forget that they are human too…
