Choosing to Live with Integrity

I’ve been paying attention to the consciousness that many people are demonstrating as current events are playing out, and one aspect that I am seeing a lot of is what I identify as weaponized victimhood. That is where people justify harming others based on their story of being a victim or oppressed. This justification and behavior is emotionally immature and a destructive reactionary violence, and it only serves to continue a cycle of violence as well as the oppressed/oppressor framework of viewing the world. 

There are many, many people who are promoting and prioritizing this worldview as more important than the ideals which are the foundation of a more peaceful world, and this leads to ever increasing violence and destruction.

Compassion and understanding are the casualties of perceiving the world through the binary framework of oppressed and oppressors.

If the higher expression of humanity is loving, which is demonstrated by our compassion and understanding, then the test is whether we choose into loving or whether we give into the lower consciousness which lacks compassion and goodness.

 Consider that there are unseen forces at play here.
