Note from Nat: I was recently invited to participate in the Grace in Grief summit, which is a series of powerful interviews with many tools to move through grief, trauma, addiction & anxiety. It is a free, online event Nov. 7-8. Click here to sign up today, and share with your friends and family.
This life is so short. My good friend and spiritual teacher, John-Roger, used to say that this lifetime is like the blink of an eye, and he also used to tell me that God is a dynastic thinker. To be like God we must think many generations ahead.
When you’ve been re-embodying into this level long enough, and your Soul (that pure unit of energy) has enough experience, the Soul’s journey starts moving back towards the source. At some point in your existence, you will return home to God. Not one Soul will be lost because God can’t loose itself. But in the meantime, this level is a classroom, and one of the principle lessons is learning to be a responsible co-creator with the divine force within and without.
Is this your last go around this merry-go-round? Maybe. Maybe not. Transcending the Soul and getting out of here can be an intention, but it is good practice to live as if you are coming back.
We are like farmers. We work in cooperation with greater forces. It is the soil that is already created that we prepare for the seeds, it is the seasons which choose our timing for planting and harvesting, and it is the sun, the moon, the rains, the bees, and so many other factors that nourish and give the life force for our plants to grow. Part of the process is knowing when to leave things alone, and when your actions will actually improve the conditions.
In this life, we place many seeds that may not fully blossom until after this time here. Today, you eat the harvest you planted in past seasons, from past existences. Today, you plant your meals for tomorrow and future existences. Even if you are not here, others may reap the harvest you’ve been planting.
Sow the seeds of loving and caring, of abundance and sharing, so that you would be happy to partake of tomorrows harvest (maybe you will be). This becomes part of your spiritual ecology, to stop polluting your psychic environment.
Clean up your own psychic fields and let the frequencies you are putting out be that of an uplifting nature. There’s so much focus on cleaning up the earth, but it all starts with consciousness. If each person was handling their own inner environment by not polluting it with all the negative habit patterns and judgements, the outer world would start reflecting that rather quickly.
To take some time with Spirit each day, and accustom your consciousness to the more refined realms beyond the density of the physical level, is an act of dynastic thinking, as it prepares you for a time when you drop this body. Doing good work, completing each creation, not leaving a wake of harm and disturbance so that your karmic waters are still and peaceful, are all encapsulated by this idea.
If you live in this moment in the fullness of loving, completing that which is your responsibility to do, the future takes care of itself. It may seem like somewhat of a dichotomy to say look with the eyes of dynastic thinking, and also to say living and loving fully in the present moment is all that is needed, but I assure you that they are the same thing. When you do one properly, you accomplish the other.
It is rather funny to me how many ways we can essentially say the same thing, but just repeating the same words over and over again would be rather boring, and may not stir the right formula of awakening.
I have found that at different times, I need to hear the essential message in different ways. It moves me inside differently, but the different paths all lead to the same end. We must focus on the end, which is also the beginning and all points between. It is the Eternal Movement, the is-ness of existence, the singularity that I have been referring to, often circling the mid point because there is no way to get there with words. Like a mirror, the words only reflect the truth in hopes that you will turn around and see the majesty of reality.
