Discouragement is one of the most pernicious inner experiences. It is the parent of hopelessness, and can be the dragon that stands in the way of receiving the treasure you are looking for.
As you walk through life, there are plenty of experiences that can create discouragement. Many times, it stems from putting yourself towards a vision, dream, or goal, and then not getting the results you were looking for. When you consistently don’t experience the success you are envisioning for your life, that becomes fertile soil for feeling discouraged.
