Note: I’m super excited to be co-hosting Becoming Free: Living Beyond Your Limitations and Choosing Freedom workshop on Sunday, August 11th from 9:30am-5:30pm at the Buttermilk Mountain Lodge in Aspen, Colorado. Cost is $250. In it, you will have a chance to explore and move beyond the limiting beliefs that block you from what you truly want. My co-host is the amazing & inspiring Olympic silver medalist snowboarder, keynote speaker, meditation guide, and Spiritual Psychology facilitator, Gretchen Bleiler. Respond to this newsletter if you are interested in joining us or for more information!

Rather than trying to change the way you do things, first change the way you see things. When you change the way you see things, the way you do things will automatically change.

Once you finally reach proficiency on the level you are on, it often feels like the rug is pulled out from under you. This is because you are being given an opportunity to move into the next level of your expansion. It can feel uncomfortable, new, and beyond your ability to handle well. It feels like you are back in first grade, but you are actually moving up which is why this new level feels…new.

When you find yourself in this situation, the approaches that you have been using because they work so well, suddenly stop working. The opportunity at this point is for you to expand inside of yourself to encompass the new level you are on.

You must sacrifice parts of your old self in order to allow the greater new self come forward. It is a process of becoming the greater you, by letting go of what is not the greater you.
